IDOL EYEZ ("idolize") is a high energy, entertaining, top40 dance/rock/party cover band that plays favorite current hits of 2K, as well as old favorites from 70s, 80s, and 90s, pop, rock, alternative, dance and disco, including hits by popular artists like Gwen, Justin Timberlake, Fergie, Michael J., Lady Gaga, Timbaland, Madonna & Def Leppard to name a few. Something for everyone! 

Idol Eyez has performed at various casinos, clubs, corporate events, festivals and weddings. Last spring, the band was also contacted by the producers of of the popular TV program America's Got Talent to offer a private audition for the band to be considered to perform on the show after they found the Idol Eyez website in a search engine looking for talent in Seattle.  While Idol Eyez had to decline the offer due to prior commitments the weekend the producers were scheduled to be in Seattle, it was flattering to have that popular talent program seek out Idol Eyez.


ROBIN: Vocals, keys, Idol Eyez financial manager, contact person, website editor 

Robin has been singing since the age of 5, and learned how to play the piano/keyboards at a young age, when she took 3 years of piano lessons, and 4+ years of vocal lessons to perfect her skills (from vocal coach Sue Carr.)  Playing in the Seattle/Tacoma area (as well as Oregon & Idaho clubs & casinos) for over a decade, some of the past cover bands you may have seen her perform with include Rock Candy, The Retros, Spandex Ballet and Poplife. Highlights include opening for Berlin, Missing Persons and the Guess Who. She has also done some radio jingle work in the past, as well as voice overs for various popular Nintendo video games. Growing up, she "idolized" and was influenced by Karen Carpenter, Pat Benatar and Madonna, but she also really loves the new music of today including Gwen, Evanescence and Kelly Clarkson. Besides Idol Eyez, she also currently performs with the bands Soul Purpose and Entourage.

TED: Bass/vocals and Idol Eyez MySpace/Facebook Host

A Seattle native Ted was born in North Seattle and grew up in the Kirkland area. Ted started playing guitar at age 11. When he was 15 he wrote and preformed his first song at summer camp. At 17 he joined his first band and switched to bass, and when he was 19, Ted joined his first top-40 band, “Speedy Delivery” playing in and around the Kirkland area. Other bands he has played with include “Krypt”, an 80’s metal cover band, Shelly’s Leg, and Fugitive, as well as various original “hair metal” bands including “Kamrun Vail”, “Teacher’s Pett”, and "7th Stranger", a band signed through Capitol Records distribution. He also played in "Children of a Common Mother" in which they opened for a couple major acts including Pat Traverse, Randy Bachman, and Iron Butterfly. As Ted says “Sometimes I like being able to lay back with the groove on bass, and then at other times come out front and explode.” Ted is a successful real estate agent by day and rock star by night! MICHAEL: Guitar, keys, vocals, Idol Eyez Music Director, demo editor

Michael is a musical maniac. Sliding effortlessly between Guitar and Keyboards while churning out vocals on many songs. He is a Pacific Northwest native. Growing up in Seattle then moving and going to high school in the San Juan Islands then finally settling in the Seattle area. Plays and listens to a large variety of music including Rock, R&B, Jazz, and World music. He studied music at Cornish College of the Arts and Edmonds Community College. His main focus being Jazz Theory, and Electronic Music Production.
Has played most casinos and clubs in the area and has been in numerous bands including most recently a long run with the popular northwest band Chain Reaction. Quote 1: “If you are happy and enjoying yourself playing music, the
audience will pick up on it. They will know when it is authentic.” Quote 2: "No dogs left behind, but goats or other large livestock need to stay at home. For obvious reasons." Other interests include: Backpacking, hiking, boating, mandolin, hangin out with family and friends, and mandolin. 

RICK: Drums

Rick was one of the founding members of Chain Reaction, a local popular top 40 band that performed in this area since the late 80s up through early 2008. This past summer he also performed with Sanjaya Malakar from American Idol's season 6 for his local concert performance series. Rick had only one day to learn all of the material for the show and did an incredible job! He has 20+ years in the music industry and is the driving beat behind the Idol Eyez music.

KAI: Vocals, choreography

Kai comes to us from Calfornia, but originally from the Phillipines, with a background in dance and smooth male vocals. You may have seen him perform with the local band Rock Candy in the past two years, and he has made many regular appearances at the Muckleshoot and Snoqualmie casinos with Rock Star Live and Rockaroake, wowing the audiences and getting them up on their feet with his high energy.
